There are usually more options when a problem when you spot any problem early but knowing how to spot a problem is not something everyone is familiar with. There are symptoms to watch for that can signal a problem before it gets worse.

Looking for the Signs
The biggest problem people face when it comes to spotting dental problems is that they find a way to ignore it. If they feel pain in their tooth, they may wait to see if it goes away. If it does, they may assume they do not have a problem. There are other signs that may or may not mean there is a problem that needs treatment. It is possible to correct some of the signs of a dental problem without seeing our dental professionals. No matter what it takes to fix the problem, it is worth learning some of the signs.

•  Pain - This is the most obvious sign that something is not right anywhere in the body. Pain could result from a cavity, loose teeth, a bad filling, an abscess or many other dental problems. It is not a sign to ignore even if it goes away.
•  Swelling and redness - There are many reasons for swelling or redness around the teeth and gums. It could be a minor issue such as irritation of the gums. More serious issues such as an abscess can also cause this sign.
•  Bleeding - Bleeding around the teeth and gums could mean a problem with gum disease, but it can also come from brushing too hard. Either way, it is something to correct.
•  Bad Breath - Poor oral health can result in chronic bad breath
•  Loose, broken, or chipped teeth - These are all signs of a problem with the teeth that need treatment.
